2.What data we process

  • First name, city (optionally district or postcode area) and email address
  • Your password, stored encrypted and never visible in plain text
  • Optional profile details and content you share, such as help requests and chat messages
  • Your approximate location, only if you allow it in your device settings; you can turn it off at any time

We process this data to provide the app (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). It is kept for as long as your account exists.

3.Deleting your account and data

You can delete your account at any time, either in the app under Settings → “Delete account”, or by emailing info@deindorf.eu with the subject “Delete account”.

Your profile, your content and all personal data are then deleted, unless the law requires us to keep something. Deletion is permanent.

4.Community rules

“Dein Dorf” is a place for mutual support. Sexual content of any kind is not allowed, nor are sexual solicitation, harassment, hate speech, threats or unlawful content. If rules are broken, we remove the content and suspend or delete the account.

5.Child safety

We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). Prohibited are child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and sharing it, sexualised content or messages involving minors, grooming, and any endangerment of children.

We remove such content immediately, ban the accounts permanently, and report suspected cases to the competent authorities where the law provides.

6.Reporting and blocking

You can report profiles, posts and chat messages directly in the app and block other users. We review reports promptly. You can also report violations to us by email.

For this we use carefully selected providers: Supabase (accounts and database, Frankfurt), Firebase (push notifications, analytics, crash reports), Google Maps (maps), OpenAI (AI features) and Resend (email delivery). For providers in the USA, transfers rely on EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
